As Frollo hid behind a wall to listen to Esmeralda and Clopin's Conversation he saw a few kids playing around in front he needed to hear what was being said so he got a few of his guards to chase them off, while they did that he slowly got closer to them to hear better. Clopin said "Es you can't be treated like that you are a gypsy always will be" Esmeralda replied "I know that but im also his wife a minsters wife now still I'm not going to change who i am he will have to suffer he said he loves me so he can love me for me not what he will make me" Clopin Sighed "That's my Es always fighting till the end" Crystal always kept quiet about her master but didn't mind talking about it from time to time or listening to it. Clopin was now her lover and Esmeralda her best friend but she felt maybe one day she will be used by frollo.

Frollo Feeling guilty as ever now he had listened to their conversation, it made him think what he done to his brother, "what have i done i am pushing her away, the woman i love, im losing her, maybe Jhan did bring her some kind of comfort" Just has he thought of that Clopin started talking again "so what will you do?" Esmeralda looked at him "what do you mean Clopin?" "you know what i mean Es I'm not stupid you can't hide it forever" She replied "No but i can try" she looked to the floor and ringed her hands together then clopin hugged her. Frollo looked carefully around the corner at clopin and Esmeralda hugging, he felt a rage of jealousy run through him when they pulled back he saw her with tears on her face she soon wiped them and got up and left clopin and Crystal to it she started walking in Frollo's direction he braced himself against the wall then he heard at little girl call Esmeralda's name she turned around and looked at the young girl and kneeled down to her "your the girl that gave me the rose long ago" the young girl nodded "that's right i did" "why did you" Esmeralda asked "because you was sad and because you knew my friends" the girl placed another rose in Esmeralda's hand and ran off again So Esmeralda shouted "Wait what's your name?" the girl came back and said "look in your hand that's my name" then she placed her hand on Esmeralda's stomach and said "healthy" and ran off Esmeralda looked shocked at then little girl then smiled at her hand and thought "Rose" she placed the rose in her hair and continued her path Frollo leaning against the wall arms Folded looking angry then as Esmeralda walked passed he Said "Where have you been" He came out from the shadows as she stopped dead in her tracks "Esmeralda........"
